Who got the 3.6 on ebay?

Earlier today I saw a 3.6 liter on ebay for a $2,500 "buy it now". It had one bid for $1,500 then and now it's gone. Someone got a deal. Came with full wire harness and coil packs.
Day late and a dollar short I guess.

I just tried to view the completed auctions and didnt see any 3.6 motors or cars closing today? Maybee the auction was closed due to a typo.

Do you have a link to the auction?

Those guys also have a genuine RS America rear-seat/parcel shelf glovebox thingy, too.

Thanks

I'd be careful about that one. Surely the guy knows the value of the engine. If he will only take a bank transfer, I would be very careful.

I saw that ad and it was gone in less than a day. Perhaps E-bay ended it because of a number of scams that's been plaguing there site.

Too good to be true w/ bank transfer only = scam?????

P.S. if he really has the motor and will sell it for 2500, buy yourself a plane ticket and go there in person to delivery the money and have a trucking company there to take the motor.

All that will still get you a good deal on a 3.6 w/ less than 40K miles (as he advertised).

That RS America motor is being sold by German Auto Dismantlers - formerly known as PAP. Be careful.
