There are just no Porsches out there!! Met Cary in MT too

Just got back from a 4,000 mile ride on my BMW motorcycle.

Up HWY 1 to Laguna Seca for the Superbike races.

Continued up 1 to central Oregon, then over to Eugene (greeaaaaat topless bars!)

Then up to Walla Walla, Spokane, Cour de Lain, across the Lolo pass to Stephensville.

Surprised Cary by walking into his IGA store. I'm the first Pelicanite to stop in!! Cary's a great guy... helped me with directions to a campground down the road a bit. Would have loved to have some extra time to check out his playhouse.... next summer for sure.

Then down to Red Lodge for the Iron Horse Harley rally.

Then down through Cody, Thermopolis to Rock Creek. Then over to Salt Lake City where I left my bike to get a new back tire put on.

All and all a great trip... only about 200-300 miles of superslab. All back roads. There was definitely a lack of Porsches out there. I'm always amazed at how rare they really are once you leave the big cities.
