How hard is it to replace the rear window in a cabriolet?

Is it possible to remove the rear portion of the top to replace the plastic window? Is it glued or stitched to the front piece of the top, or due fasteners hold it in? The rest of the top looks great, but some of the stitching id coming out around the window. Thank you.....

My advice is let a pro do it. Very difficult stitching process.

I was planning on sending it out once I got it removed from the car. This, being a Two piece top, are both pieces stitched together?

If you are refering to the original style top as used on the 911 versus the one piece on the 993, the answer is yes, the top is 2 pieces and the rear cannot be removed without separating the front section at the bow. In other words the rear section comes up from the body, across the rear window and is glued in place to the rear of the bow. The forward section is then glued on top of this area along with a mounting strip with screws. The forward section then runs to the windshield. You could remove the entire assembly and then replace the window, but you would probably end up with ripples or waves in the new window. Let me know if you need pictures.
Regards,
