Kind of sad, but...
Im not sure if this is a tribute to Porsche engineering or a slap in the face.
Either way, graphic images await - if youre an R Gruppe'r beware, captured footage of longnose torture will shortly ensue. Warning: 45MB file http://vintagebus.com/gallery/movie/911destroying.mpg

I don't think its a slap in the face... You have to remember, the british have to cover up for the fact that they build Jaguar's... and Lotus Esprit's...

The British have a strange sense of humor. Definitely worth watching though.... Where did you find this?

Isn't that Gordon Elliott from FoodTV's "Door Knob Dinners"? He sure looks and sounds familiar.

Before I start downloading. Is this the film clip with Jeremy Clarkson trashing an early 911?

Mikkel - yes.
Stone - it was posted on a BMW board - dunno about the original source. I imagine you could find it wherever other Top Gear videos are located.

At least they pull the motor and tranny before they drop it from the crane. I'm guessing that the car was a rust bucket or something. It did look good before they destroyed it.
