Opinions on non-OEM O2 sensors
Are any of you guys using the Walker O2 sensor? The cheapo replacement for the expensive OEM sensor?
Its much cheaper 1/2 the price, and if its all the same and wont make any difference....then its kinda a no brainer imo. Any thoughts? |

I used a universal bosch o2 sensor at half the price for my 944. You have to cut and mate the wires to adapt the original wiring harness but it's worth it if you save like 90 bucks. And it works exactly the same as the stock 3 wire since it's a 3 wire o2 sensor as well.

Do a search for Wil's thread on O2 sensors. There are two Bosch sensors intended for Fords listed there. The one with the shorter wire is 39 bucks at Autozone. I have a spare one that has 15 minutes on it you can have for $25 bucks if you want.

I've had the universal one in my 84 for about a year. It works just fine.
