Rear wiper removal on Carrera Coupe

Has anyone ever done it? I never use the stupid thing. I mean the whole mechanism, and plug the hole. What it really comes down to is finding an appropriate plug to put in the hole.

My buddy Mark did it (also has a black 86 Coupe). Just take it out and put the plug in there that Porsche made for the cars ordered with a rear spoiler but no rear wiper. The plug is black and is part number 999.703.169.40

I got a spare if you want it.

I had to remove the rear wiper motor/bracket last weekend in order to remove the rear condensor. I just labeled the four wires/connectors and plastic tied them to the lid bracket. Not much to it. (I'm reinstalling wiper later after I repaint grill.)

Nice to be able to see the motor through the grill now without the condensor. And, I'm running lower oil temps now in the 90 degree Atlanta weather.

PM me your address or email me @

ktlspider"at"yahoo.com

and i'll drop it in the mail to you.

A/C removal really cleans things up. If you never use it, yank it! That sounds weird................

I just boxed all the parts and put them in my attic in case who knows what comes up and I have to unload the car on some Sally who wants A/C.
