Gruppe B at Gingerman (Mich.-Ind. border) Aug 1, & 3. Come join us ...
Let the messengers go forth and spread this urgent message. We have declared war on all who do not proclaim the order of Gruppe B almighty and honorable!
The war party shall march to battle on Aug 1st at the highest sun and shall make camp at Gingerman for the duration of the week's end. There will be a few local Knights (Sir Streit and his war wagon for one) and our wenches at the track for the PCA DE.... .....the encirclement camp will be fully stocked with a king's feast (BBQ and Guinness), so we will wait out the enemy in grand fashion whilst their guts growl a mighty cry for crumbs we gladly toss to the field mice that plague the border of Michigania and Indianius. The seige will end when our steeds are thirsty for fuel and our barrels have emptied of dark spirits! Come knights, gather thus for a battle that will be told for ages, from the mouths of the aged to the ears of babes. Come ye brave souls of the forgotten clan, come Gruppe B!! Wuf! Wuf! Translation: The Chicago PCA is holding a DE weekend at Gingerman. Even if you don't run the DE., there is a test and tune night, Friday. Run what you brung thingy.... Oh!...Pelicans (yes, even the R guys and the SC guys) stop by and say "hi"...just bring your own beer, and you'll have to camp on the on the other side of the track if your are a RGuppie or SCWDPooper loyalist

Can you bring anything to the event???
I have my auto-x prepared Type 4 powered Bug that I have been itching to run... I wouldn't mind meeting some PelicanHeads either. I'll see what's goin down. Later, Tom |

Tom,
I'm pretty sure the test and tune is an event the track owners put on, so the event should not be Porsche specific. Heck, I don't think the DE is Porsche specific, as long as you are a PCA member. You can always call the track and find out what is allowed for test and tune, but being that it IS a "test and tune" I would be disappointed that you couldn't bring a car such as your car. Hope to see you at the track. |
