How to clean valves?
I have taken out all valves and exhaust valves are black and few of them have slight layer of carbon. What is the best way of cleaning w/o scraping them or making them rust?
Thanx!

Soak them for a day or so in a can of the vat-type carburetor cleaner ... the kind that comes with a parts basket. Berryman's Chem-Dip is the product here, but I am sure there is an equivalent product in your land ...
After soaking ... the carbon will scrape off very easily with a wooden tongue depressor or similar tool.

I use a wire wheel on the head of the valves.

Bead plasting and then regrinding. You are regriding them, right?

Thanx for all hints. Yes, valves are going to be re-seated with ordinary two-grain abrasive paste (it's not CNC 3-angle job).

If you are just lapping them in(not reccomended) make sure you use a non abrasive media such as plastic or walnut shells
