Body Shop does not know how to rewire driver mirror

Arg!

Last month my 77 911S Targa was vandalized (I didn't mention it here, because I was in too much of an angry rant mode)... the vandals tore the driver's mirror right off, but did not steal it.

Anyway, ICBC (the provicial insurance corp) gave a very reasonable assessment to remount the (electric) mirror, etc.. So I took the car to one of the major, and older bodyshops in the city, only to find out today that they don't know exactly how to wire the electrics back onto the toggle switch in the door. They checked with the Porsche dealership, and they told the shop that the wiring diagram was on the inside of the door. Only, not on my door, since apparently the mirror was rewired sometime in the past, and (their words) "the wiring is not the same".

OK... so could anyone post (or post a link) to a wiring diagram for an electric door mirror on a 77 911S Targa? So I can give it to the "pros" at the shop. Geez... you'd think they'd never had to attach and rewire a car mirror before

Thanks in advance

-MAS

Not sure if this helps but it's the diagram for my car.

Actually, what the dealer may have meant was on the mirror switch!! My mirror switch had a sticker on it from the factory that showed what color wires went onto what terminal.
Hope this helps!!

Yes... that is what the dealer meant. Unfortunately my car does not have this little diagram any more (hence the problem).

By the way thanks for the other diagram... but they need the actual colour coded schematic from the driver mirror to the driver door switch.

Yes... I think this is what they need. I'll show them. Thanks!
