That's pretty great, Juan. You're a true pioneer of mega-powerful Porsches.

That is an amazing amount of HP for a 911, what does the power band look like? And what does that translate to, performance-wise?

Your subject line had me scared too. I opened it expecting to read that your awesome engine had blown up. Keep up the good work! What do you think your ¼ mile times will be now?

Thank you guys,
I try to answer all the qs at once, we will be paticipating in a 1/4 mile drag race event this weekend, weather permit since is been raining every day,I have purchase 2 BF Comp T/A Drag Radials to be mounted in a set of turbo wheels that one of you guys was kind enough to drive 1 1/2 hour to bring them to me,and To you I thank you (Sewell 94)......We expect that the car will be runing at the high 10s only problem is that I havent drive the car enough so it be extremelly difficult to accomplish this, she should be in the 130mph+ range. For the last 2 months we have been working non stop especially my main tuner from Turbo Werks, for a guy that is a crew mechanic for the last 9 years for the Alex Job Racing Team, building a Drag Car was never in his dreams, but contrary to many others He did accept the challenge and has make it a personal agenda,as I spend a lot of time in the shop a great relationship has come up and is nothing but joy when I hear how he talks about the project, I been bless to have a nice crew of advisors 5 of them and one of them a BIG TIme tuner in the porsche world, all this people have never turn the back on me as many other have. Soon the next project will be to install a top secret differential which will allows us to push the car even faster on the street and the Track,on the future plans by next year it will be a fuel mang system(dont know which one yet) we will be trying to run her on alcohol and if we hit the 700rwhp we may stop there, and start another project, maybe a tube chassis 3.6 twin turbo 1,000hp drag car but will see what happens from here to there. On our latest modifications we made a custom air box (picture on my web site) we made a short exhaust a la 935 we try 5 different turbos various sizes injectors and a few other goodies we think that we can get 650rwhp but the Factory Motronics is running out of juice,as soon I figure what has happent to all my photos I will post them. As for our target well we hope that we can get her into the 10s and be one of the fastest 100% street legal 911 out there,a very tall order without breaking her. Mark I was expecting 13 replies from all the naysayers saying "Told you so..." Those same guys I MUST, THANK YOU! as I have used them as Fuel to continue the project. and to the ones that always support our project I thank you

Sounds really good!
Please post dyno sheet. P.S. I believe that installing EFI with ALS (Antilag) will cut those 1/4 times more than mucho HP will.

Juan,
You threw a scare into me as well with that title. Seems the 3.2 is one of the best platforms to get that high horsepower. At least according to the guys at Protomotive. When visiting I asked if they were still making 827 HP 3.2 motors and the reply was that they stopped because of longevity issues. I have a buddy who has a beautiful Proto Twin turbo 993....he gets frustrated when he's told that they can't ring as much power out of it as an older 3.2....go figure. BTW, congratulations on achieving your goal.

Very cool. I'm envious. Drive fast and safe. I, too, thought "Kaboom" meant a catastrophe. JP
