Running some wires to my cruise servo from the front luggage boot to the engine bay - what is the best/easiest route? |

I like the pass side, next to the hump, up off the floor. if a few wires then I lay them flat and elec. tape a flat group. then some duct tape to keep them up off the floor. then gently shape them thru the rear cover and out to the tranny area.. zip ties inside the coupler area to keep the wires to the side. then a round bundle with plastic spiral or the slit wire conduit in the tranny area.. then into eng comp fuse panel area for a connector so I can drop the engine without having to deal with a direct wire feed.. I always use marine grade wires and solder everything...........Ron |
OK - thanks - your engine drop tip is something I would have thought of after I had run everything so glad you mentioned it :)
Marine grade wires?? I assume these are more resiliant/robust than other wiring. Any special place to get such wire? I.e. I don't assume the Home Depot has this stuff... |
