Intake from a C2 '91 are it "bolt on" to a 930?

I have notised that the Carrera 3,2 intake is hard to find, now I found a C2 intake from a '91, is there anyone nows the diameter on that intake, is it possible to mount it on a 930 etc.

Pre 964 motors had 2 studs and the 964/993 had 3 studs. They sell adapters but they are very expensive (IMO). Smart Racing Products sells these:

I saw somebody else making these adapters as well but I forget who. (They were even more expensive.)

Jocke, how is your intercooler project coming? Are you ditching the 930 intake as part of your intercooler upgrade, or are you doing something new?

Chris: Thanks for the info, I can make thoose adapters by myself.

Colin: Yes and no... During the winter I planning to put digitally ingnition and fuel system on it, so a new intake is a must. "so now I dont need everything I made for the intercoolerbuilding on the original intake"

I found the other place that has them. Protechnik Inc They have a better/bigger picture that might be helpful.

I'm going to have friend make mine when I get to that point.

Probably i'm going for Autronic but i still looking at others also, Motec is a good one but to much money for it i think..
