If only I could exrpress the drool and groan of Homer Simpson with the emotion that it desreve!

Congratulations Sam, hope the purchase works out - "be well and prosper!".

Congratulations Sam, the color is awesome. IN the top pic it looks sky blue and then in the bottom one it's almost sea green, sweet!!!!

Nice going, Sam, and thank you for sharing it with us right away! I worked the L.A. auto show in Jan. '87 at the Porsche booth, wish that I knew what happened to that roll of film. I'll look for it. I loved that color when it came out. Get well soon!

I'd just like to thank all you guy's, for all the positive feed back and well wishes. I've had a lot of fun and met a lot of great people on this board and through all the events I've been to, even though my wife thinks I spend way to much time and money doing this she knows I have a lot of fun doing it ( except when I crash ) anyway I look foward to seeing alot of you at the autofest or just here in cyberspace.

Having met, and spent a little time talking to your wife at BBRIII, I'd say that she's a much more amazing find than a fleet of new Turbo-looks. She's been supportive at a time when most spouses would be throwing a screaming fit. It takes a lot of class and self-assuredness not to circle the wagons and get defensive when your husband has a brush with very serious injury, and she appears to have risen above the fear, and stood by you through a very tough event.

Aside from dodging the grim reaper a couple of times already, Sam, you're a very blessed man in a much more important way.

What Jack said. Despite the tales of doom and gloom with regards to relationships found here, there are some good example of great couples. We should raise a toast to Sam's wife.

And to follow up, upon my describing what a DE is the other day, my wife responded, "that's sounds like a good birthday present for you...better than clothes like I usually get you."

Funny how things work out...

yes, I must agree I am very lucky man in more ways than one.
my wife has been working some very long hours and she managed to get me out to BBRIII and she pushed me all around pomona last weekend, and right now there's are a dozen long stem red roses waiting for her, you tend to forget what you put your spouse through when you go out and do something like this.
