Porsche Crest I'm finally finished . . .

. . . looking for a 911!!!

Just picked up my 1979 911sc Targa (Black) tonight.
Some details: '84 Turbo torsion bars and polished 7" & 8" Fuchs allows, Weltmeister bushings, turbo tie rods, bump steer modification, camber truss, short shifter, rotary compressor, oil fed tensioners, oil sump scavenger upgrade, SSI stainless headers and "74 Carrera muffler and limited slip differential. The car was professionally lowered. The battery and alternator are new. It also came with an extra set of 6" & 7" Fuchs allow wheels.

It was in the PO position for over 15 years and I had my mech do a full PPI with leak down earlier in the week (prior post). The car has a few flaws, but drives beautifully - you know the only thing about buying a car locally is the drive home is waaaaay to short . . . I think I'll take it out again

Thanks to all who have offered such great advice over the last couple months . . . very much appreciated I learned so much, thanks.

Here's a pic:

Sweet. For future reference, it's Fuchs 'alloy' wheels.

Very cool color combination, too.

Ken, that is a sweet looking Porsche! The red interior looks awsome too. I bought an 87 Targa two months ago. Topless motoring in a Porsche is a religious experience. You are one lucky fellow.

Sincerely,

Mike

You may be finished "looking" for a car, but you have only just begun the journey and subsequent addiction!

Advice: don't ever take it to a track! It'll open up a whole new world of possibilities, which means you'll never, ever be done!

Nice looking car.
