My car got scratched last night

My wife and I were in bed (not sleeping) when we heard a huge impact sound. I went out to the front of my house and found a couple of kids (17 years old) on my front lawn one was standing the other was not moving. Thier car took off our front porch and totaled my nieces neon. A 4x4 post went though the garage window and hit the back of the 911, only scratches I was amazed. The kids did not have life threatening injuries. They were driving an older Monte Carlo and it landed upside down on the neon they were going so fast.

Wow Paul, you got lucky that they didn't plow through the house or the garage. How fast were they going? Drunk?

They obviously ignored the no parking sign...I hope it's added to the long list of charges they must be facing. I'm glad to hear that nobody got hurt.

The no parking sign was the first thing to get hit. My niece was leaving the house but a friend of hers kept talking on the phone to her an delayed her about a minute otherwise she would have been in the neon.

If the kids in the Monte Carlo weren't dead I may have considered finishing the job...

Thank God you're o.k....

The porch was the full width of the house with a deck on top of it. So there is a lot of wood. I now have to deal with the insurance company' s hopefully it is a painless process. Thank's for the reply's.

WOW! I'm glad you & your family weren’t hurt. That's very scary, absolutely no control over that kind of situation. Lucky, lucky.

Even though they deserve a serious @ss whooping I'm glad the kids in the car didn't get seriously hurt either.

Paul did they get the kids in the vehicle? Hopefully they can positively ID who the driver was. Do you know if the car was stolen? We (in Medicine Hat) had a bunch of young kids steal a 69 Cougar that took the owner 10 years to restore and totalled it. We were lucky and most of the kids were pinned inside (all ok)

Anyways glad everyone is ok up in Northern Alberta (everything is North of Medicine Hat

I just had some kids try to steal my fiance's Audi A4 Turbo last week. Those kids are lucky they didn't hit my house/car/porch, they'd be on life support right now.

Shawn, both kids were at the scene and were taken to hospital. The driver was 17 and his passenger was 16. They were cousins, the passenger did not survive the night.

Bones, I will post some pictures later
