Aggressive street susp'n settings for 930
G'day
The 930 is in the shop being tarted up a little, including new rubber all round. Haven't had the thing aligned for ages - anyone suggest some good aggressive street settings for a 930 with 16x7 and 9 Fuchs wearing 225 and 245 rubber. The car is lowered, has Bilstein sport shocks, bigger than stock T and sway bars and wheel spacers. New rubber is high perf street (not R compound) and car is street driven only. I have my 86 3.2 set up to 930 specs and I wouldn't change a thing. It handles better than it ever has and is so much fun to drive.

Yikes, that's a very unaggressive setup. It looks like the factory settings which are a compromise for handling, comfort, and fuel mileage.
generally accepted is between 1 and 1.5 degees of neg camber in the front with a 1/4 to 3/4 more neg camber in the rear, max caster (equal on both sides) and a little toe 1/32 to 1/16, slightly more on the back than the front. Usual is more like this FRT -1 camber 5-6 caster 1/32 toe in RR -1.5 camber 1/16 toe more neg camber is more aggressive, less toe in the front is better for turn-in, but not as stable at speed on the open road.

Steve, aggressive street is a good factory setting. But if you want to add more understeer and rear oversteer then adding more negative camber all around will do just that and not contribute to neutral, predictable street handling that would encourage very aggressive driving.

Thanks guys - I will give the more aggressive set up a go and see how it feels. Car doesn't do enough miles for tyre wear to really be an issue for me (ie. they go hard before they wear out)
