JK,

I find it really odd that the RS has a lower rev limit compared to the new, plain vanilla GT3. If anything, the RS should have a more stratospheric rev limit to justify the use of the famous appellation.

I suspect a number of the marketing people that worked on this particular program were probably in diapers in 1974...

O.k..flame away...

BG, yeah but I think the 1974 mob are probably either dead or giving the coffin a fair old nudging by now. Not sure if we really want a bunch of senior citizens on the team either.....

What does a regular GT3 rev to?

Matt, my old boss (P.M.) just took delivery of his GT3.
I'm going to have a look tonight and will report back!

As difficult as it is for me to admit, I watched a new episode of Dawson's Creek last night (it was an accident, I swear!), and was quite affected by a scene involving Pacey and a cocky, stockbroker friend of his.

In the scene, Pacey's friend gives him **** about the car he drives -- a mid-60s Mustang -- while Pacey drives his friend to the local BMW dealership so that the stockbroker can pick up his new car: a BMW Z8.

The stockbroker tells Pacey that the reason he drives an old Mustang is because he thinks the coolness-factor of an early 'Stang compensates for the fact that he can't afford a "real" car.

Pacey should have replied, "Unlike you, I'm not compensating for anything!" But he didn't. The truth of the stockbroker's words rendered him speechless.

The moral of this story, I hear all of you asking. It's simple:

Newer doesn't necessarily mean better.
