'72 project part 2.

Project is coming along nicely.. Got the majority of the interior stripped, will do the dash and foot pedals later, front fenders and all bumpers etc, off, all glass, (windshield coming out tomorrow), picked up the 993 engine, and all the rats nest of wiring, plus a couple other pieces like alum cross member, newer style shifter so I can use a Wevo, rear flares came in today, the bumpers, tail, etc, should be in by next week. Also found a nice set of 7x9x16 Fuchs for the street set, the track set I already have 9x12x15 BBS which I will run 10x12 inch radial slicks on. All the other parts, cage, fuel cell, mono balls, etc, should also be in by next week. Still deciding on a color though, I do like the Orange it used to be, I also like the Viper green, and also that periwinkle color I posted on the purple car photo thread. I know its different, but I like it!
Here are some photos..

Man that tub is clean. Post some pics of those 12" BBS they must be wild. Have you been down to Performance lately? They have a green 964 RUF Turbo in their with the craziest BBS wheels I have ever seen. just huge. I would love to offer my time to come and help, I would really like to see first hand how some of these installations will take place. I would be fooling my self though no way I have time to make a commitment.

Nice setup - I'm jealous (I love 72s and 993 engines). The aubergine color on long hoods is a great looking color, too. Jim Richards 73E is aubergine, and its a great looking car.
