Trying to lower the rear of the red blurr using the eccentric bolt. Okay, hands up, which way to do you turn it to lower? .75 inch is all I want, really, I can live with it...for about a month when I will NEED to have it even lower.

Once you loosen the nut that secures the eccentric bolt it shopuldn't matter which direction you rotate the bolt itself. It is not threaded in anyway. With all of the weight off of the rear end (ie. rear end jacked up) you should be able to rotate the eccentric bolt in both directions until it does what you want it to do. You will need a very thin wrench to get on the back side of the bolt though. Standard wrench was too thick for me. I had to loosen up the torsion bar cap a bit and slide it out in order to get my wrench behind the spring plate.
Good luck.

How much adjustment were you able to get out of it? I have the G50 tranny and wonder if that makes any kind of difference...

Kurt:
Can you confirm that? Spec books and such indicate around 3/8-3/4" total adjustment range. However, this could mean the slotted range, and not the total effect at the wheel, which is further away. Hmm.. maybe the 3/8-3/4 at the slot equates to 1" in absolute ride height. Inquisitive minds want to know ! ----Wil Ferch

Just based on my own observations when making the adjustment on my '86 Carrera.

I tried today. Couldn't get the bolts loose...I guess I will have to hit up the NoVA gang and see if they can help...1" is just enough...until I need to drop it more...
