Bob,
Does that white #60 belong to Jim Scott??? |
Yep. That's Jezebel.
|
John, is that a yes to my above question?
Last year Jim and Fritz and Jack R and some other guys came to Cali for a race with us (VARA) at Buttonwillow. I thought that car looked familiar. We had a great time mixing it up with those guys. Do you know if they made it up to Laguna Seca This weekend for the Road and Track races up there? PORSCHE Only run group with NO Sound restrictions. http://www.vararacing.com/ScottRacing/images/MarkJIM |
stumbled upon this ol' post while in search mode. some really great contributions from people's photo libraries. thought i could revive it in hopes of some more photos and just to bring it full circle with my own personal completed contribution. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1079932403.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1079932547.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1079932558.jpg

Wow, Bob!
Your car came out great. All your hard work is really paying off. I'm glad you went with the early decals - they look good. Kudos, |
this is a great thread. i love all the vintage race pics.
|
Bob, I'm glad that you resurrected this thread. The ultimate 911..... the Matsuda car and Cris' were my all time favorites, and your's is on my list now too. ( Steve Turco's ST replica is also pretty sweet )

this is by-far-without-a-doubt-my-most-absolute-favorite-lie-steal-cheat-i'll-show-you-the-money-car. in other words it is "the one":

Bob,
How do you know Jim Scott? Nice Car. |
bob, very cool, thanks for posting. Those bumpers look odly square and that center-fill gas cap, so old school, I love it!
|
Great pictures guys. I am finishing the last details on my 68 Rallye before Daytona and this has inspired me to get it done. Will try to post some pics by week's end. Some familliar cars Curt. Is there any chance you may be able to e mail me some close ups that may show some of the decals more clearly? Don@Porsport.com thanks again.
Best, Don |
Just trying to post a pic that didn't show in one of Bob's earlier posts:
http://www.hostdub.com/albums/ValveF...umber20Red.jpg Got it :) |
Joe,
Nice looking car. I like the exhaust set up. I have the same set up on mine for when I go to Laguna Seca Raceway with their sound restrictions. Where in Montana are you from. My family is from Montana and many still live there. |
bob, what size tires do you run? by the way, love that car! those subtle mods are done very cleanly. please don't put on rsr flares!
