Is it aesthetically tolerable? I might just join the Gruppe B guys if its not! And if I can figure out what the hell Gruppe B means???????????
Any pictures?

Board member Mark Wilson has one on an SC, looks great. The flares on an SC are almost identical to RS flares, so why wouldn't it look OK?

Doesn't really matter what others think as long as it's your bag.

Yep, what Mark said. Also, many seem to forget that 911's actually came that way (duck tail + accordian bumpers) from the factory on the mid-seventies 2.7L Carreras.

I actually saw a pic of a 993 with a ducktail. They had it made for the car. Whatever floats your boat

IT IS MY BAG!!!! lol Thanks Mark, It is beautiful.
So Mark, Is your tail carbon fiber? Are the originals built into the deck? I mean, are they one piece of metal?
What are the options for doing the duck tail?

Mine is all glass. There is one made with a steel frame/glass duck, but I think it was quite expensive. Get one from a respected supplier to cut down fitment issues.

I like Catca's ca. Maybe i should do my black 88 with a duck tail and black carrera script on the side...

Where do i get the script from and is it easily removed if i decide to go back?

Get the script from Mike Z on this board. It is also easily removed.

Mik911--Yep, Kinesis 17x7.5 in front, 17x9 rear, tires are Kuhmo 215/45 front, 255/40 rear. No fitment problems--and love the looks!
