Here is my latest dyno compared to the pre-fuel head mod - you can see how much the fuel head modification improved my AF ratio. In fact, I think the car may be a little rich now and could suport some more HP. I forgot to turn off the Andial fuel enrichment or my midrange would have been smoother. Still, it is a big improvement and should let me run the turbo at its max output without worrying about fueling issues.

Thanks again everyone.SmileWavy Maybe this is a little bit too much to ask but... here it comes...:o I'm really impressed over the outgoing power you show up with and some links to the parts you HP freaks using would be GREAT!!! BTW: Is there any aftermarket tunerparts you now of that's not good at all, please share them, i will start order soon wery soon... You guys are the best! /J |
Jocke - everyone seems to have their own preferences for parts and tuning work. My engine was built personally by Stephen Kaspar at Imagine Auto in Kansas (www.imagineauto.com). Stephen is a great resource to talk to. If you give him your goals he can suggest a solution. By the way, Stephen is the National 911 Technical Advisor for the Porsche Club of America.
The issue with this stuff is always money. I can tell you that my engine was very expensive, and I got a good deal. I would venture to guess that Juan is heading into six figures with his project - not including his own time. From looking at your car I would suggest you start with an intercooler kit, which would allow you to up the boost a bit. Different cams, headers, exhaust, etc. will all add to your car. If you really want to get wild, you could up the displacement and compression (and then get into big dollars). The key, of course, is to have fun! |
ZCAT3, thanks a lot.
