Alternator hook up?
I got an rebuilt alternator from pelican and it pretty close to the one that was on there. The only problem is that the tech bulliten said to not use the black wire that went to B- because they didn't have a B-. The one I got does. My question is should I hook it up or not? I believe its a 2nd ground.

Terry,
Is the replacement alternator an exact replacement ... or, an upgrade model with built-in regulator??? If it is an upgrade Valeo or Paris-Rhone with integrated regulator ... then just disconnect and remove your existing regulator, tape up and insulate all old regulator wiring at the fuse/relay/CDI-unit panel, and don't hook up the Black wire to the alternator. You will only be connecting the Brown ground wire(s), Red battery cable(s), and Blue #61 wire [warning lamp] to the new alternator.
