Los Poncos

Corner of Calle 3A and Ocampo. Just follow the signs for Ave. Revolution. This puts you on 3A. Ocampo is parallel to Revolution, but 3 streets before.

Very Hard to miss!

Looks great James, What color is that? Sounds like your happy with the quality. Is it significantly less to have it done south of the border? What kind of paint did they use?

I brought the paint with me - I used Dupont Urathane with a clear coat.

The paint job is about an 8 on a scale of 1 to 10.

And I'd say the labor was about 1/3 the cost of a similar job here.

The orignal color - swartzmetal (blackmetallic).

I thought it was the same color as mine. I want to paint mine in the next 5 years, but am shying away from the concours idea I had. I would like a good paint job & spend the $5k I save on performance upgrades. I wonder if I can find a deal like that north of the border.

Hey, Hey, Hey, glad it turned out good. The pictures look good and for a daily driver car that is what you want. I think they guys at Los Ponchos really like to work on something like a 911 as they get some bragging rights!! I seriously doubt that you can get this kind of work done in CA for the TJ price unless a body shop is sponsoring you or you marrided the owner's daughter!

Looks Good
Mines black metallic too and It's a great color, it's nice and dark but doesn't show stuff quite as much as full black.
I had my pickup sprayed in little TJ, it's the old neighborhood I grew up in, in the SF Valley. They were about 2/3rds the price of most shops and did very nice work.

Wayne - wait until I finish the inside!

The job took 1 week: dropped it off Saturday and picked it up the following saturday.

Cash - the green folding kind. Left $500 deposit and the rest on completion.
