Side Rear View Mirror Adjustment Knob

The plastic cap that normally sits on top of the joystick used to adjust the rear view side mirrors has gone bye - bye on my '88 Carrera.

Any ideas on where to start looking for a replacement? I have a fear that this tiny little part is very expensive to get from a dealer. (Could be wrong, but I doubt it).

Thanks,
Bill

Having lost a few of these over the years its best to put a dab of silicone on it prior to installation, it can be removed easily but the silicone sealer will prevent the fly off or vacuum from appropriating the knobbie!

I purchased one of these from our sponsor for my 1985 Targa but it did not fit. Did the pre 86 cars not come with the knob?

I think they were first used on the 1987 models.
