I am putting the steel fenders (11" back & 9" front) on a 1976 911S. The fuchs I have when put on are flush with the fender. The best tires I can find are Goodyear Eagle Sport 23.0x10.5-16 for the back. Before I go buy tires I want to know if the wheels are even going to fit. Also I am going to do a 3.6 conversion...will the added weight of the 3.6 set the car down enough to make a difference? I just do not know if the offset is correct. I wanted to know if people with a similar set up had the wheels inside the fenders or flush with the outside like mine look like they will be. Thanks

Are you talking about the Goodyear slicks? I have those sizes. You should be able to run those front and rear, because there is no smaller size. The 10.5s are made for the front to pair with the 12s or 14s in the back. But alot of people run them front and rear.

What is the o/s of the wheels? If you don't know measure as carefully as you can the distance between the front and back plane of the rim and the distance from the mounting face to the backplane. W/ that info fit can be estimated w/ good precision.

They are racing tires and have directional tires but yes I believe they are the same ones.
