anyone heard of ARKTISSILBER MET SILVER? what years?
can any one tell me what year(s) this particluar silver was a factory color? thanks.

Arctic Metalic Silver - it still is a factory color. My Boxster is Arctic Silver Metalic

guess i could have gathered that it was arctic silver...but i ain't got real good smarts. is this just a PPG issue re-naming a color?

PPG translates the German. There is a polar silver#92E, a bit bluer, late model. # 96024, silver metallic is supposed to be on your 68
