Is the horn fused?
I decided to replace the long-gone-missing horn in my car, and I have movement inside the relay, but no juice at the final connector. Is it fused?
And just so I'm not looking in the wrong place, the horn was on the passenger side front fender in 1972?

No fuse in the circuits; either to the relay or from the relay. There is wiring to both sides (black and yellow wires) but the driver's side was the primary location (2 horns) and the right side is the optional location. The white and green wires feed the optional foglights.

You should be able to just swap the relay out with one of the other red ones on the panel, at least to rule out a bad relay.

Jack, Who you going to honk at when your leading ?
Reminds me of a joy drive I did once in a friends Shelby 500 mustang. I used the turn signal changing lanes once and he said You don't need the turn signals, Just NAIL IT and there won't be anybody next to you ![]() |

k9handler,
I once avoided a serious head on collision by using the horn. I don't think opening my electric windows would have caught the other driver's attention... ![]() Hehe, but seriously - It's not a good idea driving without it. Just like you can never have too much HP, your horn can never be loud enough ![]() ![]() This horn looks good: http://www.lonewolfwhistle.com/air_mega_loud.html
