ignition wires

are new ignition wires required with an MSD CD upgrade?
the 101 books doesn't mention it, MSD manual vaguely mentions no solid wires..

are stock Porsche cables solid?
are new cables a must?

anyone has good experience on this?

Spiral wound wires are a must to avoid problems, solid cores won't cut it. Magnecors are the favorites...

What kind of wires are stock with the 964/993 dual drive distributors? Solid or spiral?

You could try: -

http://www.magnecor.co.uk/

At least the shipping would (hopefully) be quicker and cheaper..
