Fuchs Tire Mounting in Ventura County

Need a little assistance. Living in the land above LA, where is a reputable tire business that will not damage my refinished fuchs? The valley is not to far away.

Thanks in advance,

Not terribly convenient to you but I have used Big Brand Tire in Goleta successfully. Just as important, they use the Hunter gsp9700, the latest (as of a couple of years ago) tire balancing machine and the only one that has ever gotten my tires right each time. You might talk to the Ventura or Oxnard managers, tell them what you want, ask about the Hunter.

Where are you in Ventura County? If you're closer to the city of Ventura, I'd check with Jason at RS Enterprises. He may or may not do tires but I'm sure he knows of a good tire shop.

Did they mount Fuchs for you? That is where I went today based on a recommendation from my neighbor. Come to find out he is a manager their. I went to the shop this afternoon. Wow that place was hopping! I think I got a decent price, but I do like to deal with local shops if I can. The other recommendations in Goleta and the Valley were going to be my next visit.

I really love this board for the assistance. Got to get the suspension components to the platers.

For your future reference......... While on a search for the hard to find short valve stems, I went to California Tire on the recommendation of some SBPCA members. Not only did they have the short stems, the manager/owner is a PCA guy with a 930 and completely understands the fuchs thing. They are south of the frwy. near Ventu Park in T.O.

Yes, they mounted my Yokohama Advan A048s on my 16x7 and 16x8 Fuchs.
