Wiring connectors and wiring size for CDI

I need some of these connectors for a adapter I am fabricating to adapt a factory SC harness to use 2 Bosch CDI boxes.

I have 2 female plugs exactly like the factory harness where it connects to the CDI, and I have a male plug from an old harness of unknown origin my mechanic had laying around. These connectors slip into the plastic plugs.

I know without even stopping by, the local dealer is going to give me that blank stare I am so familiar with.

I tried Radio shack and a local Electronics store (Frys) and came up empty. They have some similar to the female version, but none of the male connector was long enough.

If Wayne carries them, I will order them, but I want to make sure I order the right thing.

Anyone know a part number?

Also, what guage wire should I use?

Thanks,

Tom

Tom,

I suggest 14 ga wire, but that is overkill, since thwe CDI-unit draws less than 2 Amps, per the spec! You can get the connectors at any industrial electrical supply house.

But, if you insist here are the factory part nos. ... 999.652.115.10 for the male 'flag' terminal, and there are three different nos. for the female Fastons ... 999.652.111.10, 999.652.112.10, and 999.652.113.10. I presume the female connectors are for different wire sizes, but don't know which is which!
