What is a 73 1/2 911
Saw an ad for a 73 911 today. Called owner says car apparently started life as a European 73E, stated this is a late 73 car, with 2.7L CIS, 7R case, RS Flares, accordion bumpers? This sounds like a 74 Carrera except for the vin being a 73 E. Or a modified 73 911. What should the vin # read for 74 carrera and engine number. I know the 73 RS designation would be 91136XXXXX. A 73 E would be 91132XXXXX.
I think it's worth while taking a look at...nothing better to do on a Sunday afternoon...need some opinions, information is king and the more I have the better. Last edited by tabs; 10-19-2003 at 10:23 AM.. |

73.5 911Ts were the CIS equipped cars that were only sent to the U.S. This one sounds like a modified E.
Let us know what you find, though.
