Bosch oil filters...What do you think about them?
Greetings,
I'm looking for opinions about Bosch oil filters. I have an oil change coming due soon and I already have a Bosch filter. Is anyone else using them, had problems etc? Thanks!

The Bosch filter might be fine, but the Mahle is O.E. and the best one for the car. It has the right specs for the oil pressure and location on a 911, at $5-6.00 a pop why fk around?
Also, the ones that they now sell at the dealer w/ the Porsche name on them are junk, made in Tijuana or something, buy a few Mahles from our host and be set. ![]()

I second what Denis said, the filters from Porsche are not what they used to be. If one measures the weight of a 'Porsche' filter to a Mahle filter, the 'Porsche' filter is much lighter.
