A/C Hose Clamp a (gulp) Dealer Item?

It's dark, and my digital camera is average, so I'll try to explain this one. If a picture is needed, I'll snap one in the am.

On the passenger side of the engine lid, the A/C line is secured to the lid hinge by a special clamp with an integrated rubber spacer. It's broken, and I need another one, before the body wears a hole in the rubber A/C line.

Pelican item, or dealer item?

Is it just a clamp with a rubber insulator? If so, you can get them at Home Depot.

No, unfortunately it's got some sort of funky, integrated spacer get-up that mounts the hose away from the hinge. The rubber spacer mounts to the hinge, and the integrated clamp retains the A/C hose coming from the condensor.

Probably a $30 clamp.........

The condensor in that diagram looks different than mine, in that the line on the passenger side of my condensor doesn't exit straight down like that.

Mine has a metal pipe that exits the condensor and makes a "U" turn, back towards the hinge. The clamp is similar to "25" on the diagram, and perhaps both "25" and "24a" together might make up the assembly (with the nut, bolt and washer of course).

All you need is a new rubber isolator. If you decide to pick one up at a metric fastener place, the studs on it are 5mm.

Cool, so the rubber mount/isolator is available as a separate item. I just took a very quick glance at it today, but it looked like a fairly integrated piece. I'm sure the clamp itself is fine, but it looks like rubber mount broke off at the base, right on the lid hinge. I'll pull it apart tomorrow.

Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!
