Question License Lamps for RUF Bumper?

Replacing rear bumper with RUF from BW Motorsports and searching for some OEM type (any make/model) lamps for license plate. Looks like those from a BMW 2002 series are close match to RUF type but not sure which year is paintable - most pics I see they are chrome. I definitely want some new or at least very clean. Anyone have some insite here?

After much anguish and two body shops ignoring the project, (including the guys who did the bumper work) I ended up adding the original Porshe lights. Worked out well I think since I had just bought new units from Pelican a couple of months pervious. I just left them black as they came out of he package. Not a Ruf duplicate but original enough for me. YMMV

Mike, I used Lightning boltz, which are bolts that go through the top of the frame and tag. They work pretty well

John - Brian mentioned your solution to me while at Barber - I may go that route for the interim. Where does one get this bling bling?

If there is a Pep Boys nearby check them out. I searched their website and found them under Lite'n Bolts and I think they are probably the same thing. I am in Louisville now, but will check a store up here. They listed for between $30-$40.

I also just found them online elsewhere, here is a link to the cheapest so far: http://www.streetrodstuff.com/Products/1470/#reviews

I found lights that look exactly like these in a salvage yard on a Toyota (Corolla?). They're black plastic, paintable.

I'm still looking too!! rdane's look good on his black bumper. a freind suggested licence plate bolt lights that shine down. he said he saw them in a hotrod catalog. If I find them i will pass them along if anyone is interested. I am using the front & back nerf bars, & routing the front cooler oil lines has been a challenge. The 16 an lines are some fat puppies. Craig, please post some pics of your oil cooler install prior to bumper mounting if you get a chance! To poor to buy one now, but I'd like to see how you mount it and route the lines.

Like I need another reason to be pulled over? I was liking the stealth look though, all blacked out

I have a B&B up front and seldom hit 180 other than on the track where it will hit 180/190 and hold.

Wavey's pic is my car. as I've reported before, mine are early '70s Datsun or Toyota pieces. Lot of New England guys use the 2002 pieces(chrome can be painted) but I didn't like the visible screw heads.

Nissan used very similar license plate lights for its SUV "Pathfinder" a couple of year ago. They should be fairly easy to get. That is, if you REALLY need the lighting!

Thanks for the replies. Looks like I might have to stop by a Nissan parts department soon.
