Unhappy What's that clunk?!?

After playing around on the weekend (and a couple of hard launches), there now seems to be a clunk that occurs when I release the clutch. It doesn't happen all of the time, just when I don't give it enough gas to release the clutch smoothly. Once rolling, it doesn't happen, even when I get on and off of the gas quickly, making the car jerk a little. I was thinking possibly tranny mount or driveshaft universal joint but I haven't had a chance to crawl around under it yet. I have also noticed a weird thrumming sound from the left rear of the car when I'm driving along, giving it throttle. It goes quiet once I release the accelerator or push in the clutch.

Are these parts known for failing? Thoughts?
