Questions RE turbo body
Just a few questions regarding the wide body conversion.
1 - Were the trailing arms on the widebody cars different or did they just use spacers? I'd assume that they were different, and with that in mind, is it worth all that trouble to change the rear suspension around or should I just use spacers if I do the upgrade? 2 - Whats the story with instalation price for 4 flares? Last I checked up here (canada), they wanted huge labor dollars to put them on. Oh, and one more question: Is it worth it to look into coilovers? Thanks guys, looking forward to hearing your responses. Adam

1. Yes, 930 used completly different trailing arms which were shorter, in order to achieve less sqatting. They are expensive and hard to install in SC and it's generally not worth it.
2. dunno

turbo flares
You can purchase 4 turbo flares for around $500-600
If you have access to a skill saw and a mig welder do it yourself, takes about 2 days work. Most shops would charge minimum $1000.00 930 turbo spacers are 2 inch to achieve filling out the flare. Money is better spent on wider rims, just make sure you get the proper backspacing. 76 911S 66 912 v8 68 912 2.2 with nitrous |
