Is there supposed to be a plug here? (AFM)
this is the top, where you see the end of the idle mix screw.
Is it possible that I pushed it off on boost?

Jerry, I am not sure the area inside of the plug is open to the rest of the AFM. The plug may have just vibrated out as opposed to being blown out. Underneath the corner of the AFM where the plug is out is the smaller plug you can take out to adjust the fuel mixture. I would see if that area is closed off from the rest of the AFM. If so I would just get a rubber plug to fill the hole.

however it works it does communicate with it. I found and old pic with the plug still there. Air blows through into the throttle boot if I blow into the hole with the bypass closed all the way (mix screw) So, here's another source of vac/boost leaks

Plug that up, or else it will cause a lean condition at idle and part throttle. On Boost it doesn't have any effect, except for a boost leak.
