Found much needed headroom
Well, I needed some extra headroom so that I could wear a helmet with the top on my car (71 targa). I have a DE event coming up and unless I could fit it wasn’t going to happen. After many ideas I came up with removing the spring set up from the bottoms of my seats (71’s) and replacing it with high-density foam. Here is the end result.

Dave there is a slim chance I might drive out for one of those days to watch and learn a little. It all depends on how much I can get done on my remodel. We are in the destruction phase.
Hopefully we will see you on the 3rd.

Dan Gurney put a bump in the top of many of his race cars.....he also lowered the seat and dimpled the pan......

maybe that explains all those puffed up targa tops we see on the freeway- they're driven by tall people!
