Any idea of a price range.

I saw this 73 BMW 3.0 at a car lot this morning that said make an offer. The car appears very clean. Supposedly the guy moved and has no place to store and is confident he will make his money back on it which I would assume he would being a car dealer. Anyways, any know anything about these cars. What range in price do they fall into? Any info helpful.

So I guess you can not help me. Thanks for the British sarcasm Dick - Ster. I still own a Porsche and I still buy parts here as needed. Enough said. Oh, wait a minute, Bug off.

No hard feelings, I know you Brits have a good sense of humor. My father in law is from Rochdale (now Isle of Man). It took me years to get him. Figure, as soon as I figured him out and got to like him, he went back to the UK. Guess he couldn't stand Americans. Come to think of it, maybe it was me. Maybe he wasn't being sarcastic. When he said piss off on his way back to the UK, I thought he meant he had to go the bath room. What the...

Anyways take care, see you around the forum.

No sarcasm intended but Pelican does have a pretty big BMW side as well. My guess is they should be able to help you.

If the BBs members there are as mad keen on BMs as this side you should get loads of advice.

Thanks. If I go over there, (not quite sure where there is yet), do I need a new setup (password, user name)? Any help appreciated.

Argeo, I suspect this thread will be moved.

The 3.0 is a beautiful car with a timeless Euro design. As with many cars this age lookout for RUST. The factory stored the inventory of fenders for this car OUTSIDE in an unpainted state. Regarding price: It's totally dependend on condition. I've seen them from a couple grand for a car in need of a resto to low/mid 20s for nice original low mile examples.

Is it a CS or CSi?

You can also try Roadfly.com in addition to Pelican to do research.
