They be outta bidness.....they MAY be approached for big restorations.

Stopped in and ordered something from them in June face to face. James was there. Received half of the order. Calls went unanswered. Called credit card co and they put a stop payment on them. Never had to pay for items not received. Got lucky!!
I might have been the first guy about to get ripped off. I didn't think too much about it though as I have bought others items before with no problems. I've learned......Go buy from Pelican!! Jim |
Are you people serious ? I still have some wrong parts they sent me to return.

You won't get anything from them. Years ago I returned merchandise to them and they never would credit my account.
They were great right up until that time but I never ordered from them again. |
well then, I guess I'll order my stuff from somewhere else. if there is legal action taken by any of you against them, I'd like to be part of it. that's a ****ty way to do business!

The parts I got from them were not charged to my account. On one occasion Doc and Cye sent me a different part to replace the wrong one they sent me. I was not charged for the correct part they sent me, they just told me to ship back the wrong part when I could.
The next time I did business with them I got a duplicate order. Which I also was never charged for. All these parts were small ticket items. Doc and Cye were not paying for the return shipment and I have been slow in shipping them back. So , I really can't fault them that much. They always seemed helpful when I could get someone to talk to. -Don |
These guys do (did) good business. EVerytime I have needed something from them they have been able to accomodate me, and most of the time went out of their way to do so. I think, and it's unfortunate, that most of the problems they have had are related to their help that was "let go". Remember, this was a hobby for them. Doc & Cy did this in their free time. I hate to see them get a bad reputation because they hired a bad apple. It was such a small operation, this one bad apple could (and apparently did) ruin the business. Read the other thread that I posted to for more of the story!
