This was just discussed earlier in the week. You might want to do a search.

Stopped in and ordered something from them in June face to face. James was there. Received half of the order. Calls went unanswered. Called credit card co and they put a stop payment on them. Never had to pay for items not received. Got lucky!!

I might have been the first guy about to get ripped off. I didn't think too much about it though as I have bought others items before with no problems.

I've learned......Go buy from Pelican!!

You won't get anything from them. Years ago I returned merchandise to them and they never would credit my account.

They were great right up until that time but I never ordered from them again.

well then, I guess I'll order my stuff from somewhere else. if there is legal action taken by any of you against them, I'd like to be part of it. that's a ****ty way to do business!

The parts I got from them were not charged to my account. On one occasion Doc and Cye sent me a different part to replace the wrong one they sent me. I was not charged for the correct part they sent me, they just told me to ship back the wrong part when I could.

The next time I did business with them I got a duplicate order. Which I also was never charged for. All these parts were small ticket items.

Doc and Cye were not paying for the return shipment and I have been slow in shipping them back.

So , I really can't fault them that much. They always seemed helpful when I could get someone to talk to.

These guys do (did) good business. EVerytime I have needed something from them they have been able to accomodate me, and most of the time went out of their way to do so. I think, and it's unfortunate, that most of the problems they have had are related to their help that was "let go". Remember, this was a hobby for them. Doc & Cy did this in their free time. I hate to see them get a bad reputation because they hired a bad apple. It was such a small operation, this one bad apple could (and apparently did) ruin the business. Read the other thread that I posted to for more of the story!
