cab elec top problem
 

hi all,
my elec top isnt working,hoping for some suggestions please.

i had to lower the roof manually.
i pulled the switch and i have power at 1 of the 3 wires.
when removing switch the 3 wires came of the switch.
can anybody assist with wiring diagram for the 3 wires to the switch.

should there only be power at 1 of the 3 wires.
any suggestions of what to check next.

THe center wire should be "hot", then the switch position determines which way the motors run.

Couple of things to check:

Check the relay
Make sure the microswitches on the transmission (Passenger side, drivers in UK\AUS) are not triggered - if the little "feet" get out of alignment and lits the upper switch, it cuts all power to the top.

hi afjuvat,
so on the switch as long as the hot wire is centre pin the other 2 wires dont really matter,switch will operate around the wrong way if the other 2 wires are switched around.

what do u mean about transmission ,where is it located exactly please.
