1) Full suspension refresh
- new (used) torsions
- adjustable spring plate
- new koni's in the front to match the ones the PO put in the rear
- new bushings
- turbo tie rod kit
2) Rust chasing
- POR trunk. Its a big mess. Gas tank support is shot, but the tank isn't falling out. Getting someone to replace it is a spring task unless I find someone local who knows how to do it and wants to help for beer
- Examine some worrisome rust bubbles.
- Find a place that can color-match my paint, since I don't have a paint code.
- Touchup chips where the original white, or rust is peeking through
3) Some mechanical stuff
- Get temp gauge working
- If I'm feeling adventurous, drop engine, refresh tranny.
- Plan for a spring tuneup (adjust valves, clean and adjust carbs, see if I can fix the idle, etc)
4) Misc body stuff
- Replace windshield and rear window seals, quarter window seals, misc other seals.
- Upgrade rear lighting. Its spotty at best, and way too dim.
- Fix drivers window once and for all. Sometimes it goes up and down, sometimes it doesn't.
5) Spring planning.
- Find local shop who can fab a roll bar for the car assuming it'll be less than the crazy $900 they seem to be for the SWB based cars from tuner shops.

I have just started my project.
Remove engine and tranny, replace all of the dried and cracked stuff there is on a 20 yeart hat needs replaced and clean and detail engine compartment and underbody.
I have taken out my axles and taken apart my cv joints. the grease was really bad inside. I have read up on the things to do when the engine is out, hope i don't forget anything. I will add pics later.
I am leaning on taking my airconditioning completly out. Don't know yet, but it sure shows the engine off better and dosn't work anyway

Project 1: Drive
Project 2: Drive more.

I spent my summer doing an unplanned rebuild. I plan to drive on every nice day I can this winter.

New halfs shafts, rear wheel bearings, new shorter studs to fit
1" spacer instead of 1 3/8" to be able to run 275x40 tire without the ocaasional chirp. PS I have made a tool to remove the rear
wheels bearings without removeing the swing arm, when I'm done I would either sell or rent it to anyone on this board.
