Fog lights height adjustable??
Fog lights on my Carrera point down to a spot about two feet in front of car. I looked through Bentley to see if there is anything about adjusting them, but nothing. The two screws that hold them into the valence area are purely to attach them and there does not seem to be any way to adjust fog lights to point a bit further in front of the car.
Anybody done this? Would I have to bend the plate that they screw in to?

If your 88 is like my 85, I believe the two screws you mention are only for the black trim ring, and they may only hold on the front lens. If you look from beneath your car, you should find a hefty vertical post that is part of the housing. The way it attaches to the valence ( as I recall from memory...it's been a while) allows you to both pivot sideways and vertically, via this vertical post and its mounting screw/nut.

Thanks Wil, i just went out to the garage and adjusted them both. So now they point higher and more to the center of the road, and I can use them as supplementary driving lights. Dont get much fog here anyway.

Fogs have a different light pattern. If you want supplemental driving lights "I" would replace them.....

And if you do replace them..Hella 450 driving lights are *identical* in size to the original fogs....don't know how they mount, though...
