How much oil?
The oil level on the dipstick has moved from half-way to quarter way from the bottom line. Approximately how much liquid gold is this? Yeah yeah, it was checked full temp, level, motor running.
Car has been driven about 1100 miles since last oil change and I am trying to see what the oil usage is.

The difference between the high and low marks on the dipstick is ~1.85 quarts.
Looks like you used just under half a quart. Tom |

next time you hit the lower mark, put just 1 quart in and reset the trip odometer. Repeat several times and you'll have an accurate assesment.

Bear in mind, you're going to get different readings at different engine temps (i.e. 180, 190, or 200). Porsche oil is hard to measure precisely.
