78 911 aftermarket turbocharger

i have a 78 911 and have installed a aftermarket turbo on it the turbo kit is most likely 20 or so years old yery simple system no intercoller or waistgate has pressure pop off on boost side running aprox 6 or 7 psi the charger is a big ray jay gives a good kick in hp without seeming to over tax engine. anyone have any feedback on it or who might of made it as far as getting parts ie spring to up boost i don't push the engine as to over tax it compression is stock somewhat low now 8 to 1 i think also feedback on putting in a water injector. thanks

There is a gentleman here who has same BAE kit. I don't see any reason no to use newer turbo with built-in wastegate and remove pop-off valve, if that's what you are asking (i'm having hard time understanding your question tough ). Intercooler helps too...

where did you get the pressure switch to trigger the enrichment valve. and where did you tap fuel supply to feed valve. have you heard any feedback on water injection? i bought a 930 intercooler but decieded too much trouble to plumb it in and have you heard of any source for replacement boots for manifold connections? thanks

Any N.O. pressure switch will work. Should be at about 3 lbs or so. Tap the fuel line for the enrichment valve right off the fuel filter/fuel accumulator with a 'T". See the post on that.
Water injection is a waste. While it does cool the mixture it does not add power. That is why I use supplemental fuel injection. It does both - cools the mixture and adds power. Plus you don't have to have that extra water bottle and worry about it going empty and you car detonating.
Replacement silicone boots would need to be fabricated. I would look to turboengineering.com maybe and then modify them.

It's worth the trouble and will improve odds for a longer engine life.
