SC and Carrera Heat Exchangers
Does anyone know the difference between the two (apart from the Carrera ones are more expensive). Can Carrera exchangers fit the SC and vice versa, or does some plumbing need to be done.

DC To the best of my knowledge the difference is in the diameter of the headers, I believe they are slightly larger on the 3.2 and hence allow the 3.2 to make use of it's larger exhaust ports. I think the fitting is the same as it has a nasty power draining crossover pipe just like the SC. You should get a definitive answer here later when everyone get's back from the gym.....

I will remember something like:
1 5/8" on 2.0-2.7L engines. 1 3/4" on 3.0-3.3L engines. I could be wrong but i'm pretty sure.. ![]() /Jocke

I have never measured the SC or Carrera headers but do believe that the CArrera are larger(could easily be wrong though)
I did measure the 964; 36.75 primaries(~1.5") x-over is a 64.9x33.5mm oval 65mm collector

Not sure about the factory measurements either, but if you order headers from GHL, or B&B, they are all the same 78-89.
