I think many plastic 911 kits are out of production.

I found some on eBay.

I have one or two Fujimi models, and Monogram kit.

The Fujimi is very high quality, very similiar to Tamiya quality, tons and tons of parts, including for the engine bay area.

The Monogram is definitely a beginner model and is only curbside. It has definite imperfections but should be cheap and fun anyways. No engine, not much detail, about 9-10 total peices. Good to start on or experiment with.

Check ebay, that's where I bought them..

Do a search under the Model Kits/Automotive section of Ebay, for "Porsche" and then eyeball the different auctions. There is a guy in HK/China that sells alot of them, but I don't trust buying from such a far away place.

Tamiya still makes these 3.2 Porsche models: 959, 930 slopnose, 1989 199 speedster. I just bought them at locat model store 2 months ago. The going price is $17 each. Search ebay with "Tamiya Porsche". 2 big scale 1/6 of orange 934 RSR and Matini 935 are very desirable out of production model from Tamiya.

Moazam-

fabulous model, but I wonder:
Is it unstable at speed? I notice it has a chin spoiler but no wing

Ya know. Sometimes I think about building a model. Then I read something like this:

Wow! This guy is serious about his modeling!
