Proud Parent - New pic
Just thought I'd share a pic of my ongoing project that I keep bugging all of you with questions on. Took this Yesterday.
Fuchs are only halfway done, but have a decent shine to them. Still lots of Mechanical and detailing work to do. Hopefully it'll make the winter go by faster. ![]() Jim

The seats are actually temporary while the originals are being recovered. These are from an 86 944. They fit well and don't look bad either. Comfy and nice thick bolsters.

Looks good! Post another pic when you get a chance. I'd like to see the color in different light.

Looks great. Fantasic scenery behind the car. Do you live on the Lake?

Jim,
That's a nice one! I saw your thread on tire size recommendations, so here's a photo of my 69T with 205/60-15 BFG Traction TA's on 15x6's. Absolutley no clearance problems, and really fills out the wheel wells nicely. ![]()

This is Lake Erie. It's about 20 minutes south from where I live. Lake Huron is about 40 minutes north.
These were taken in Port Stanley. Fellow Pelicanhead Kryptonite and I were down there. He had his 86 930 out. It's a sweet ride. Anyhow, the lighting here, and the digital camera I was using don't do the color justice. Here is the car a couple months ago in my driveway. ![]() ![]() So as you can see, the colour is quite nice. As for the seats, I have a guy who used to be a motorcycle mechanic, (just so happens to be a brother of one of my coworkers) and recovers seats of all sorts. He's done my motorcycle seats and does a great job. Gonna give them to him over the winter. Thanks for the great comments!! Jim

It's becoming clearer everyday, and with every task that gets completed that reveals a new one... or two. Jim
